Bénédicte Herbout
Our Senior Sustainability Consultant, Bénédicte Herbout, will be your trainer for this session. She is a trained facilitator of the AdACC (Les Ateliers de l'Adaptation au Changement Climatique), and have led 100+ numerous workshops and trainings for diverse audience ranging from trainees to C-level executive.
Origins of the Training: The Climate Adaptation trainings (Les Ateliers de l’Adaptation au Changement Climatique) were developed by Juliette Nouel and Marguerite Deperrois. The training is recommended by the French Environmental Agency, and numerous large companies have already trained their employees using this approach.
CHANGESthatMATTER now aims to further develop and disseminate this collective intelligence and impactful methodology in Germany.
Agenda
30 min – Introduction
Introduction to the concept of adaptation and how it complements risk‑mitigation measures for effective risk management.
1 hour – Discovering the method
Exploration of the components of climate risk, specific adaptation levers, the assessment of measures (maladaptation vs. co‑benefits), and the need for transformative development.
1 hour 30 min – Application to a concrete topic
Work on a specific topic relevant to the company or municipality (defined in advance). Collective brainstorming on possible measures and outlining a transformation strategy.
30 min – Wrap‑up and action impulses
Summary of key insights and first steps toward implementation.
